How Does It Work?

It's simple. When you borrow from the Pawn Shop Superstore, you receive a 30-day loan with the option to repay the loan and retrieve the collateral you have submitted. You also carry the right to default on the loan, without negative repercussions beyond the loss of the collateral.

5 Steps to get the cash you need:

  1. Decide how much money you need and bring in the merchandise you wish to pawn.
  2. You will be asked to present 2 Pieces of valid personal identification. For example:
    • Primary Picture ID (i.e. Drivers License, AID, Citizenship, Government issued ID) and;
    • Secondary (Alberta Health Care, Social Insurance Number, Birth Certificate)
  3. A Pawnshop Superstore representative will carefully examine and evaluate your merchandise and offer you a loan based on brand name, re-sale-ability, and other criteria.
  4. Upon acceptance by the Pawnshop Superstore, a pawn ticket will be prepared with the terms and conditions will be explained to you before you sign anything.
  5. You walk away with your cash and the original copy of the pawn ticket.

Best efforts are made to handle top quality merchandise, which is why we may turn down nearly as many transactions as we accept. However, all good quality items will be considered - just ask!

Our Policies

  1. By law, you must have the proper government issued identification.
  2. You must be at least 18 years of age.
  3. We do not insure merchandise, nor do we sell or charge for insurance. If you feel you need insurance, we suggest you speak with your insurance agent prior to visiting us.
  4. Stolen merchandise will never be considered. We will notify the police if we are aware that you attempt to sell or pawn stolen goods, and you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.
  5. We keep detailed records on any transactions to protect ourselves and the buying public. NO EXCEPTIONS!
